北京時間11 月11 日22:14，FTX 官方發佈公告稱，包括Alameda Research、FTX US 在內的134 家相關實體（合稱FTX Group）已根據美國《破產法》第11 章向特拉華州地方法院申請破產重組。
與此同時，SBF 也正式辭去了FTX Group 的首席執行官一職，該職位將由Ray & Counsel 律師事務所的負責人John J.Ray Ⅲ 接任，後者擁有超過20 年的商業訴訟經歷，曾在知名的“安然破產大案”中擔任相關債務清算公司的負責人。針對當前的局面，Ray 表示根據《破產法》第11 章申請破產保護是製定下一步計劃的必要步驟，目前Alvarez & Marsal、Sullivan 和Cromwell 正為FTX 破產重組提供建議。
根據Alameda Research 同步提交給法院的相關文件中，我們可以獲悉更為準確的數字（實際也只是個區間）。其中，Alameda Research 在債權人數量的選項中填報的是“預計超過10 萬人”，而在資產及負債規模選項中Alameda Research 填報的則均為“100 億美元– 500美元”。
